FSMVU Faculty of Architecture & Design receives an honorable mention award in the African Urban School International Architectural Design Competition.  

The team consisting of Asst. Prof. Hakkı Can Özkan, Lecturer Özlem Özdener Özkan, Architecture graduate Fevzi Kurşun and students Hümeyra Karabacak, Sırrı Berkay Kaya, Şengül Şimşek and Şafak Özaydın, was awarded the honorable mention award with their project designed in Mali, Bamako at the African Urban School International Architectural Design Competition organized by Archstorming.com, a website dedicated to humanitarian architecture competitions.
