FSMVU’s International Project Success

For the 2022 term, Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakif University has succeeded in 10 Erasmus+ KA171 Higher Education Student and Staff Mobility projects.

Department of International Relations with 11 Higher Education Institutions will carry out Erasmus+ KA171 projects in 7 regions (10 countries) in the domain of "teaching, training and learning mobility.” Regions include the Western Balkans (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro), Eastern Partnership (Georgia, Ukraine), Southern Mediterranean (Morocco, Tunisia), and Central Asia (Uzbekistan), Middle East (Iran), Russian (Russian Federation), and Sub Sahara Africa (Tanzania). The Erasmus+ KA171 projects will carry out academic studies in Turkish Language and Literature, Architecture, History, Fine Arts, Political Science, International Relations, Computer Engineering, Law, Traditional Islamic Arts, Engineering, and Psychology.

The relevant mobility program will increase the international recognition of the FSMVU at the institutional level and expand the existing global networks. In the academic context, it aims to include these achievements in the university’s teaching process that cooperate with developing new teaching tools, courses, and valuable materials. The academic and administrative staff participating in the mobility will continue to work by enhancing the cooperation between the two institutes in the research domain and preparing studies on sustainable projects.
