Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakif University (FSMV) recently had the honor of hosting a delegation of university students from the Republic of Kosovo as part of an initiative to promote Turkish Foundation culture and strengthen international academic ties. The visit took place on November 5, 2024, at FSMV's Uskudar campus, as part of a series of educational and cultural events organized by Turkey's General Directorate of Foundation to introduce Turkish foundation values to students from Kosovo.

The delegation, consisting of Kosovar university students studying in various institutions across Kosovo, was welcomed with a comprehensive presentation about the university’s rich history, educational culture, and key successes. FSMV representatives highlighted the university's foundation-based heritage and its ongoing commitment to academic excellence and societal contribution. The presentation provided the students with an insightful look at how the university integrates the values of Turkish foundation civilization into its educational framework.

Following the presentation, the students were given a guided tour of FSMV's state-of-the-art campus facilities, allowing them to experience firsthand the university's vibrant academic environment. To further enrich the visit, the delegation was presented with special souvenirs and goodie bags as a token of appreciation. The hospitality extended to the guests also included a warm tea reception, allowing students to engage in friendly and meaningful conversations about academic, cultural, and social topics with the representatives of Directorate of International Relations.

This visit marks a significant step in strengthening the ties between Turkey and Kosovo, fostering cross-cultural exchanges, and promoting the shared values of foundation-based education.
