Since 2018, Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University (FSMVU) has proudly been a member of Global Partners in Education (GPE), a prestigious network led by East Carolina University, USA. This membership provides FSMVU students with unique international learning opportunities through Global Virtual Exchange, fostering intercultural communication and collaboration.

As part of this initiative, FSMVU offers the Global Understanding course as an elective within the Civil Aviation Cabin Services Program in the Modern Languages Department. The course connects students with their peers from universities around the world, offering them the chance to learn, interact, and grow in a virtual, cross-cultural environment.

Global Partnerships Around the World
FSMVU’s collaboration with GPE has enabled students to engage in virtual lessons with partner universities across continents. Previous collaborations have included institutions from the USA, China, Chile, Ukraine, Poland, France, and Gambia, providing students with diverse perspectives and enriching global experiences.
