Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakif University (FSMVU) proudly participated in the 1st Istanbul Universities Cooperation Meeting, held on 12 June 2025 at the Istanbul World Trade Centre and ICYF General Quarters. The meeting, organised in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF), aimed to strengthen collaboration between Istanbul-based foundation universities and ICYF, along with Model Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (MOIC) student clubs.

During the event, ICYF President Mr. Taha Ayhan delivered an opening address, highlighting ICYF's role in empowering youth across the OIC region through initiatives focused on leadership, education, economic empowerment, and cultural dialogue.

Representatives from FSMVU and other leading universities engaged in a series of seminars exploring ICYF’s strategic programs, such as the Young Business Hub, International Incubator Centre, Diplomacy Academy, and digital learning platforms.

The meeting underscored FSMVU’s commitment to advancing initiatives that promote education, leadership, and intercultural collaboration across the OIC region.
