Igniting Global Connections: KA171 Staff Training Experience at the University of Dar es Salaam
Under the KA171 Staff Training Mobility Programme, the Directorate of International Relations undertook an official visit to the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM), Tanzania. The visit served as an important platform for dialogue on internationalization strategies in higher education, with a specific focus on the African context and the Tanzanian higher education landscape.
During the visit, participants engaged in in-depth discussions on key indicators for effective internationalization, considering regional priorities, institutional opportunities, and contextual challenges. Particular attention was given to inclusiveness, gender responsiveness, sustainability, and core European values, allowing both institutions to exchange perspectives and best practices aligned with shared global goals.
The visit contributed to strengthening institutional collaboration and mutual understanding, emphasizing the importance of context-driven and values-based international cooperation.
