Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakif University (FSMVU) has achieved a significant milestone in international mobility by securing all 15 Erasmus+ KA171 Higher Education Student and Staff Mobility projects submitted for the 2026 call. Through these projects, FSMVU will establish mobility and academic cooperation with 15 higher education institutions across 15 countries and 10 different regions, further expanding opportunities for students, academic staff, and administrative staff to gain international experience.
15 Projects Across 10 Global Regions
The new Erasmus+ KA171 projects extend FSMVU’s international mobility network across a diverse range of geographical regions:
- United States and Canada: Canada
- Asia: Bangladesh
- Western Balkans: Albania, Kosovo
- Eastern Partnership: Azerbaijan, Georgia
- Southern Mediterranean: Morocco, Palestine, Egypt
- Caribbean: Jamaica
- Latin America: Argentina
- Central Asia: Kyrgyzstan
- Pacific: Australia
- Sub-Saharan Africa: The Gambia, South Africa
This geographical diversity reflects FSMVU’s commitment to developing a broad, balanced, and globally connected international partnership network. Under the projects, students will have opportunities for study mobility, while academic and administrative staff will benefit from teaching and training mobility. These activities will enable participants to engage with different academic environments, exchange knowledge and expertise, and develop lasting international connections.
