Rector Prof. Dr. Kahramon Sabirov and a delegation from Tashkent University of Humanities
visited Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakif University (FSMVU) to explore opportunities for
strengthening academic cooperation between Türkiye and Uzbekistan.
Rector Prof. Dr. Kahramon Sabirov of Tashkent University of Humanities in Uzbekistan and
his accompanying delegation visited Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakif University (FSMVU). The
meeting at FSMVU was also attended by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Turan Gokce. Discussions
focused on potential areas of academic cooperation between the two universities and
opportunities for developing joint initiatives. During the meeting, the participants exchanged
views on opportunities for scientific research, student and academic staff exchange programs,
and the development of joint projects. Both sides expressed their shared commitment to
further advancing existing cooperation in higher education between Türkiye and Uzbekistan.
The visit also provided an opportunity to discuss ways of building sustainable academic
relations between the two institutions and expanding future collaborative activities. FSMVU
looks forward to strengthening its academic ties with Tashkent University of Humanities and
developing new opportunities for cooperation in education, research, and international
exchange.
