The graduation ceremony for the Academic Year 2022-2023 was held on 18th July at the Haliç Congress Center. The ceremony started with the observation of one-minute silence in the beloved memory of our students named Selinnur Ölçer (Faculty of Law), Beyde Omar (Biomedical Engineering), and Yusuf Can Bayancuk (Faculty of Law).

International Students’ Success

The graduation ceremony was conducted in two shifts in the morning and evening. A total of 1555 students with 82 international students were given their degrees.

Ümit Can Ünal, topper of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, delivered the speech on behalf of the graduate students at the ceremony.

Abdullah Eid, topper of the Computer Engineering Department, Feras M. I. Alaqad, topper of the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Darin Sawah, the second position holder of the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Eda Özdemir, the Second position holder of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Mahamadou TAMBADOU, the third position holder, and Roud Jaafar, the third position holder of the Graphic Design Department were among the brightest students.

Toppers were awarded by Rector Prof. Dr. M. Fatih Andı, Chairman of the Board of Trustees Mevlüt Uysal, our Vice-Rectors, and Deans.

After the ceremony, our graduates gathered on Golden Horn Beach and marked the beginning of a new chapter in life by tossing their graduation caps.
