A six membered delegation from Alfraganus University of Uzbekistan visited FSMVU, culminating in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two institutions. The MOU outlines collaboration in various academic fields and departments, focusing on faculty/student exchanges, joint research, and shared academic programs. This partnership signifies a commitment to fostering international cooperation and academic excellence.

The Alfragnus University delegations consist of Mahmudov Muhammadismoil (Rector), Mirazimov Sarva, Ismailov Azizbek, Yuldashev Yakub (Member of Board of Trustees), Safakhonov Berdiyor (Head of International Office) ve Muhamedov Asror (Dean Social Science Faculty ). Prof. Dr. Nevzat Şimşek (Rector FSM), Prof. Dr. Zekeriyya Kurşun (Vice Rector) and Dr. Bedia Tekin ( Head of International Office) hosted them at FSM’s Rectorate.

Alfraganus University established in 2022 in the city of Tashkent encompasses 37 fields including economics, philology, pedagogy, social sciences, digital technologies, tourism, medicine, and physical education-sports departments. It is named "Alfraganus" in honor of the Uzbek encyclopedist Ahmed Al-Fergani.

During their visit to FSMVU, the delegation from Alfraganus University of Uzbekistan had the opportunity to explore our Aya Sofya Campus. They met with the Head of Islamic Arts Center Dr. Betül Bilgin, further strengthening cultural and academic ties between the institutions.
