Academic Bridges Across the Atlantic: FSMVU and URI Collaborate Under Erasmus+ KA171

Prof. Dr. Lokman Gündüz, faculty member at the Department of Management, visited the University of Rhode Island (URI), College of Business, 5 as part of the Erasmus+ KA171 Project Teaching Mobility. During his visit, Prof. Gündüz held meetings with the management and faculty members of URI, exchanging ideas on potential future projects and exploring new avenues for collaboration between the two institutions.

This teaching mobility is part of a broader Erasmus+ KA171 initiative between Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakif University (FSMVU) and URI. The project aims to foster international cooperation in higher education, enhance curriculum development, and modernize teaching practices through academic exchange. With a thematic focus on Lean Six Sigma methodologies, the initiative promotes knowledge sharing, professional development, and research collaboration. This partnership represents a meaningful step in FSMVU’s internationalization strategy, offering valuable opportunities for faculty and students alike, while paving the way for long-term academic cooperation.
