Our Rector Prof. Dr. Nevzat Şimşek attended the iftar reception at Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Istanbul.

Our Rector, was welcomed by His Excellency H.E Ambassador Dr. Yousaf Junaid and His Excellency Consul General Mr. Nauman Aslam. Words of appreciation and future engagement were exchanged among them.

This iftar reception was organized in the pretext of the comomoration of Pakistan Day 2024 attended by dignitaries, Turkish officials, members of diplomatic corps, academia and business community. It presented the glimpse of Pakistani Culture and its cuisine thoroughly enjoyed by the attendees.

Professor Dr. Nevzat Şimşek gracing the ocassion presented our Hagia Sophia Souvenir prepared by the Islamic Arts Application and Research Center of our University to His Excellency Consul General Mr. Nauman Aslam at the end of the program.
