Merve Geyçi FSMVU English Preparatory Program student has qualified among the top three winners in the reading competition organized by Oxford University Press Turkey. Oxford Readers' Academy is one of the leading prestigious publishing houses in the world in the preparation, printing, and distribution of courses and storybooks used in English teaching. It encourages students to use their English language skills and creativity to read, speak, write and listen to the English language. The competition was held for the fifth time this year. At the Oxford Readers' Academy, the first and the only English reading competition in Turkey, participants are expected to choose a story from the Oxford Storybooks series and prepare a video that summarizes the story and uses their creativity.
Our student determined her story in this year's theme of the competition, "Read for the World.” A workshop on film production, post-production, dubbing, and presentation skills with the video she prepared under the guidance of Esra Kalaycıoğlu was awarded ORA&OUP branded trophies, digital badges, and certificates.
