The Rector of the University of Darussalam Gontor (Indonesia), Prof. Dr. KH. Hamid Fahmy Zarkasyi, Vice-Rector Dr. Khoirul Umam, and Director of International Centre for Awqaf Studies Syehruddin Fin visited our university and met with our Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Z. Hakan Akpolat, signing an MOU between our universities in the process.

After that meeting, Vice-Rector Dr. Umam visited the Faculty of Islamic Sciences and had a meeting with the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Altundağ. Various issues were discussed during the visit including joint conferences and academic relations between the two universities.
