Eurasia Higher Education Summit was held in Istanbul from 1st – 3rd March. It is the new meeting point for international higher education to connect other parts of the world with the great potential of the Eurasian region. Its annual summit features an exhibition and a conference to expand the knowledge, networks, and collaboration opportunities for the participants. It focuses on sharing ideas, and best practices for internationalization, generating new partnerships and joint ventures, discussing challenges exploring new trends, and discovering innovative solutions.

Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakif University’s four-member international office team participated in this EURIE summit to showcase the university stall at the educational exhibition with the aim of increased networking and collaboration. During the Conference, we met our Erasmus partners from the University of Craiova Romania and exchanged good wishes and souvenirs. Additionally, we have signed an Academic Agreement with the University of Management and Technology (UMT) Lahore Pakistan and exchanged the souvenirs with them.

Further, we developed an understanding with multiple universities from Poland, Russia, France, Brazil, Morocco, and Azerbaijan to establish academic collaboration in the fields of common interests. EURIE 2023 ended on a positive note of reconnecting for international education and making the world a better place by using the power of knowledge via the education of our young minds.
