Universitas Ibn Khaldun Bogor: A Brand-New Partner in Indonesia

Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakif University has started a new chapter of cooperation with Universitas Ibn Khaldun Bogor. On 23rd September 2022, Prof. Dr. Z. Hakan Akpolat, Vice-Rector of FSMVU, and Prof. Dr. E. Mujahidin, Rector of Universitas Ibn Khaldun Bogor, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aiming at an academic and educational collaboration between both universities.

Ibn Haldun University Bogor is a private university founded in 1961 in Bogor province of Indonesia by the Ibn Haldun Bogor Islamic Education Foundation. It has six faculties: Law, Education, Economics and Business, Islamic Sciences, Engineering, and Health Sciences, and one graduate school of Education. Prof. Dr. E. Mujahidin, Rector of Universitas Ibn Khaldun Bogor, led the five-membered delegations to Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakif University. The delegation included Dr. Budi Susetyo (Vice President for Cooperations), Dr. Immas Nurhayati (Director of Research Institute), Dr. Widyasari (Director of the International Cooperation Office), and Mega Febriani Sya, MPD (Research Assistant). At the same time, the FSMVU delegation was led by the vice-rector and the International Relations Office team. Prof. Dr. Z. Hakan Akpolat presented the souvenir of Hagia Sophia Camii to the Rector of Universitas Ibn Khaldun. Prof. Dr. E. Mujahidin also gave the university souvenir to the vice-rector of FSMVU.

We hope to strengthen bilateral cooperation between universities in scientific research and international exchange programs shortly.
